Silver 14″ Cromodora wheels are mounted with 205/70 Michelin tires. The car features a fully independent suspension with double wishbones at each corner, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner. The front brake pads and wheel bearings were reportedly replaced in 2018, and the brake fluid was flushed and brake sensors cleaned in 2019.
The cockpit features bolstered seats that have been reupholstered in beige leather upholstery with black accents and are complemented by matching door panels and replacement carpeting. Equipment includes air conditioning, a cassette stereo, electric windows, a fire extinguisher, and a gated shifter with a dogleg gear pattern. The driver’s seat mechanism was serviced in 2021, and the driver’s door lock was rebuilt at that time.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation including an 85-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, water temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 29k miles, approximately 16k of which were added under current ownership. The speedometer generator was replaced in 2001.
The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 is equipped with four twin-choke Weber 40DCNF carburetors and was factory rated at 240 horsepower. The timing belts are said to have last been replaced in 2015, and the fuel pump was replaced in 2017. The oil pan and crank seal were replaced in 2018, and an oil change was last performed in 2019. The battery, spark plugs, and air intake replaced in 2022. The seller notes that the engine hatch requires effort to close securely.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
