The car is finished in World Rally Blue Pearl, and equipment unique to S209 models includes a front splitter, canards, wider fender flares, aerodynamic side skirts, a vented rear bumper cover, and a rear diffuser along with a carbon fiber roof and rear wing. Paint protection film was applied to the front fascia, roof, rocker panels, A-pillars, rear doors, rear wing, trunk lid, and rear bumper cover in December 2019. A ceramic coating was also added at the time of the PPF application, and the rear and side windows were tinted.
Forged 19″ BBS wheels are finished in satin gray and wear 265/35 Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 600A tires. S209 suspension upgrades include STi-tuned Bilstein dampers, STi-engineered front and rear draw stiffeners, an STi-branded strut tower brace, and pillow-ball suspension bushings.
The cabin features seating upholstered in black and gray leather with Ultrasuede inserts, and red trim accents the dashboard. Equipment includes heated Recaro front seats with embroidered STi logos and power adjustment for the driver as well as automatic climate control, a short-throw shifter, repurposed steering wheel paddles for the intercooler water sprayer, a frameless rearview mirror with a Homelink universal garage door opener, cruise control, and Starlink infotainment.
The center console houses an S209 badge indicating this was car #021 in a series of 209.
A multi-function Ultrasuede-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer, 180-mph speedometer, and a central color LCD. The odometer indicates just under 4,500, approximately 1k of which were added by the seller.
For the S209, Subaru revised the 2.5-liter flat-four with an HKS GT III RS turbocharger, a retuned engine control unit, an intercooler water sprayer, sodium-filled exhaust valves with upgraded springs, an upgraded fuel pump and injectors, and forged connecting rods and pistons. Output was rated at 341 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was carried out in July 2022.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle, limited slip front and rear differentials, and a Multi-Mode Driver Control Center Differential (DCCD). Additional underside photos are available in the gallery below.
