Staggered 18” and 20” American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are finished in gray and mounted with 225/40 front and 245/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Braking is handled by Wilwood calipers over drilled and slotted discs at all four corners, and the car is also equipped with a Wilwood primary brake cylinder.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a folding rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Additional appointments include a push-button AM radio, front lap harnesses, and Mustang-branded rubber floor mats.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel wears a Cobra-branded horn button and fronts a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. A supplementary instrument pod is mounted atop the dashboard and includes a tachometer and an oil pressure gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 76k miles, approximately 200 of which have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
According to the seller, the car is powered by a 306ci V8 that was rebuilt during current ownership and is equipped with a Holley 3259 four-barrel carburetor, a Cobra-branded intake manifold, an Edelbrock camshaft, Cobra-branded finned aluminum valve covers, and Hedman tubular four-into-one headers. The engine bay was refinished in black at the time of the engine rebuild, and an oil change was last performed in June 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a T10 four-speed manual transmission. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
A reproduction identification tag affixed at the top of the left front fender is shown above alongside a vehicle warranty number stamping. The vehicle warranty number is consistent with a 1965 Mustang fastback built at the Dearborn, Michigan, plant and powered by a 289ci V8 with a four-barrel carburetor. No trim tag is present on the driver’s door.
