Staggered-width 16″ Fuchs-style wheels were mounted in May 2022 and wrapped in 205/55 front and 245/45 rear Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires with 2021 date codes. A space-saving spare is stored in the front compartment. The car is equipped with a torsion-bar suspension system with Bilstein rear shocks, and stopping power is provided by Porsche-branded calipers and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The rear wheel studs were replaced with Porsche 66mm wheel studs in August 2022.
The cabin features tan leather sport seats along with a color-coordinated headliner, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes power windows, a center console, and an Alpine cassette stereo linked to a graphic equalizer. The trunk latch and struts were replaced in May 2022. The driver’s seat bolsters show wear and the seller notes a separating headliner seam by the sunroof.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a centrally mounted tachometer with an integrated boost gauge as well as a 150-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The clock internals were replaced in August 2022. The six-digit odometer shows 64k miles, approximately 700 of which were added by the seller.
The turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six has been modified with a Fabspeed intercooler, a K&N Intake, silicone intercooler pipes, an aftermarket turbo, B&B headers with heat exchangers, and an aftermarket exhaust. The air conditioning compressor and lines have been removed, and the seller notes an oil leak under the engine. The battery was replaced in May 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. The transaxle was rebuilt by Zuffenhausen Motors in March 2022. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.
A Porsche Classic Technical Certificate and inspection report from May 2022 is included in the sale and lists the factory identification numbers as well as a November 1979 production date.
Service records and a tool kit are included in the sale.
