Silver 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich g-Force Comp-2 tires measuring 205/55 up front and 225/50 at the rear. The car features a fully independent suspension with double wishbones at each corner, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs all around. The suspension bushings were reportedly replaced and the brake fluid flushed in 2020, and the brake calipers and pads as well as the steering rack boots are said to have been replaced in 2022.
The cockpit features bolstered seats trimmed in beige leather along with color-matching door panels and carpeting. Equipment includes air conditioning, a retractable Pioneer CD stereo with Bluetooth capability and a rearview camera, Morel speakers in the doors and rear deck, electric windows, Lloyd floor mats, aluminum pedals, and a gated shifter with a dogleg gear pattern. NVX sound and temperature dampening material has reportedly been added in the cabin and doors, while Shield IR film was applied to the windows and windshield. The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, water temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 55k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership. The clock has been serviced, and the seller reports that the turn signal stalk is intermittently sticky returning to the off position. The tachometer gauge glass is cloudy.
The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 is equipped with four valves per cylinder and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. Maintenance under current ownership is said to have included a belt service, a valve adjustment, an overhaul of the intake system, converting the air conditioning to R134a refrigerant, and replacing the hoses, fuel pump and accumulator, fuel injectors, spark plugs and wires, distributor, water pump, thermostat, and engine mounts in addition to powdercoating the intake plenum and valve covers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch was replaced in 2022.
