The car is finished in Speed Yellow with a black convertible soft top. Additional features include bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and quadruple exhaust outlets. A front license plate relocation kit is fitted.
The 19″ Lobster Claw wheels are wrapped in a mix of Michelin Pilot Super Sport and Pilot Sport N2 tires. This example was ordered with 5mm wheel spacers, and braking is handled by multi-piston red-finished brake calipers fitted over cross-drilled and vented rotors at all four corners. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM), an active brake differential (ABD), and Anti Slip Regulation (ASR).
The front sport seats are upholstered in black leather, and this example was optioned with Speed Yellow seatbelts along with matching trim on the dashboard, instrument cluster surround, console, and seatbacks. Interior features include a sport shifter, cruise control, self-dimming mirrors, a Bose High End sound system, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, carbon-fiber Carrera S-branded door sill guards, and a leather-wrapped center storage compartment lid with embossed Carrera S script. The telephone button beneath the infotainment screen is missing.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 200-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 28k miles, all of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.8-liter M97 flat-six features Variocam Plus variable valve timing and was factory rated at 355 horsepower when new. Work completed in August 2021 by Loeber Porsche in Lincolnwood, Illinois, is said to have included replacing the drive belt and spark plugs as well as an oil change.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. This example was ordered with optional stainless-steel exhaust pipes. The transaxle and clutch assembly were replaced in October 2017.
