A spare windshield frame, fiberglass front valance, and trunk lid are included in the sale.
Knock-off wheels have been widened and powder coated BMC silver and are mounted with Hoosier tires. Braking is through four-wheel discs with dual master cylinders. The car is equipped with polyurethane suspension bushings. The removed single master cylinder and spare wheel cylinders will accompany the vehicle.
The cabin houses BMC competition bucket seats trimmed in black leather with red piping and matching door panels. The car retains partial black carpeting, and the factory transmission tunnel cover has been replaced with a removable aluminum unit. Equipment includes a roll bar with removable door bars, aluminum floorboards, a fire suppression system, and red latch-and-link belts.
A leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel with a quick-release sits ahead of Jaeger instrumentation that includes a 7,500-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and auxiliary displays. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 38k miles, around 10k of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. A spare twin cam-spec tachometer is included in the sale.
The 1.6L twin-cam inline-four is equipped with dual SU carburetors and features a fuel cell, a Carter electric fuel pump, Accusump oil accumulator, and ceramic-coated exhaust manifolds. The seller states that fluid changes were performed in August 2022. The results of a compression test can be seen in the gallery below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a BMC synchronized four-speed manual transmission with straight-cut close-ratio gears and overdrive, along with a Quaife limited-slip differential with 4.55:1 gearing.
