The bench seat is upholstered in red vinyl with white pleated inserts and joined by engine-turned trim on the dashboard and door panels. Thunderbird and V8 emblems adorn the dash, and amenities include a Town and Country signal-seeking radio, a map light, and a lockable glove compartment. The dashboard turn indicator bulbs are said to have been replaced in May 2022.
The red steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts Astra Dial instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature flanked by a tachometer and a clock. A Bosch temperature gauge is mounted below the dashboard, and the five-digit odometer shows 3,600 miles. True mileage is unknown.
The red-painted 312ci Y-block V8 features finned aluminum Thunderbird-branded valve covers and a 12-volt electrical system. An oil change was performed in 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The frame was painted black during the refurbishment.
