The body was refinished in its factory shade of Dark Green Metallic (R) as part of the refurbishment completed in 1998. Equipment includes a power-operated white soft top, reverse-hinged rear doors, quad headlights, a rear hitch receiver intended for a bike rack, power-operated vent windows, a driver-side mirror, a Lincoln hood ornament, and a Baker’s Automotive stainless steel exhaust system. The driver-side fender and portions of the front bumper were replaced, and the front bumper was rechromed after the car was involved in an accident in 2005. Work completed in 2023 included painting and reinstalling a left fender support rod along with replacing the convertible top motor and lubricating the top mechanism. There are imperfections in the convertible top, the power antenna does not automatically extend, the windshield washer pump does not work, and the rear bumper finish is deteriorating on the left end. A left fender support rod has been painted and installed and the windshield washer pump was replaced in preparation for the sale.
Steel 15″ wheels wear Lincoln-branded covers and are mounted with 235/75 Cooper Trendsetter thin-whitewall tires showing date codes from 2019. Equipment includes power-assisted front disc brakes with rear drums, a dual reservoir master cylinder, power steering, and a spare wheel mounted in the trunk.
The cabin features front and rear bench seating that was reportedly retrimmed in its factory shade of tan leather as part of the refurbishment completed in 1998. Equipment includes a three-way power-adjustable front bench seat, lap belts for six occupants, air conditioning, a heater, bright door sill guards, an analog clock, power windows and door locks, and an AM radio with an 8-track player wired to three component speakers. The seller notes the voltage regulator was replaced, the engine and chassis ground contacts were cleaned, and the oil, oil filter, and air filter were changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed C6 automatic transmission and a 3.00:1 locking differential. The transmission was rebuilt as part of the 1998 refurbishment, and its fluid was replaced and the filter cleaned in preparation for the sale.
