The car was delivered from the factory in black, and refurbishment work reportedly involved removing the body from the chassis, welding seams, and repairing the existing panels before a repaint. A replacement red soft top is fitted, and other exterior details include a fender-mounted left mirror, Lucas driving lights, bright trim, and chrome-finished bumpers with overriders.
Chrome-finished 15″ Dayton wire wheels feature two-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with 165-series Vredestein Sprint Classic tires that were installed under current ownership. Suspension work performed during the refurbishment is noted to have included rebuilding the steering gear and replacing the suspension bushings, front sway bar, and tie rod ends. The braking system received a rebuilt servo and replacement lines, front discs, and rear shoes.
The cabin features front bucket seats reupholstered in red Ambla leatherette, complemented by rear seats and interior panels covered in red vinyl. Additional appointments include red carpets, a heater, and a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror. The burled walnut wood dashboard trim and turn signal switch are said to have been repaired as part of the refurbishment, along with replacing the trunk-mounted battery cut-off switch.
The wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline, joined by auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 62k miles.
The selling dealer states the 2.9-liter inline-six was rebuilt during the refurbishment process and that additional work involved reconditioning the starter motor, generator, and dual SU carburetors in addition to replacing the timing chain assembly, water pump, radiator core, and fuel pump. A Moss Motors Texas Cooler six-blade cooling fan has been fitted.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Refurbishment work included installing a Borg and Beck clutch assembly along with a remote clutch hydraulic system bleeder and replacement lines. An exhaust skid plate is mounted, and additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
