The truck is finished in beige, and the standard front air dam and fog lights were omitted on the Hunter Edition. This example features a roof rack, a front brush guard, headlamp washers, taillight guards, side steps, and a rear window wiper. The selling dealer notes the presence of blended paintwork and blemishes on various body panels as well as scratches in the window tint, a chip in the windshield, a tear in the right rear vinyl pillar, and a crack in the right corner marker lens.
Tri-spoke 16″ alloy wheels are mounted with 255/65 Toyo Open Country A/T III tires showing 2020 and 2021 date codes. The truck is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes and Rancho 5000 shocks, though the shocks need replacement.
The cabin features seating surfaces trimmed in beige cloth along with color-coordinated carpets. Additional appointments include manually-adjustable front seats, a 60/40 split-folding rear bench, an analog clock, and power windows. The air conditioning system and cassette stereo are inoperative, the rearview mirror is loose, the walnut wood trim on the doors is cracking, and the material on the center console is lifting toward the bottom.
A two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 130-mph speedometer, an inoperative 6k-rpm tachometer, auxiliary gauges, and an array of warning indicators. The six-digit odometer shows 69k miles, and the included service booklet shows that the speedometer was replaced at 9 miles in September 1991. Total mileage is unknown.
The 3.9-liter V8 features multi-point fuel injection and was factory rated at 178 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque when new. The spark plug wires were replaced in April 2020, and a crinkle on the front edge of the passenger-side core support is shown up close in the galley below.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The power steering hoses weep fluid, and the steering knuckles are damp. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.
Manufacturer’s literature and a set of wheel locks are included in the sale.
