Pure Metal Silver cars were finished by hand, apart from the regular production line. The multi-stage paint features a Glacier Silver base and aluminum flakes, which provide a high-contrast light-dark effect. The M5 features deeper valances and side skirts than the base 5-Series, and this example is equipped with self-washing adaptive LED headlamps, an electric glass sunroof, auto-dimming mirrors, automatic high beam lights, Shadowline trim, a power-operated trunk lid, soft-close doors, tinted windows, and quad exhaust outlets trimmed in carbon fiber. There is a paint chip in the front spoiler, and the seller notes clear paint protection film covers all painted surfaces.
The 20″ Style 343M alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 265/35 up front and 295/30 out back. The tires were purchased and mounted in March 2020 at approximately ~15,800 miles on the odometer. The Pure Metal Silver Edition package also incorporated the Competition Package with thicker sway bars, and stiffer springs and dampers, as well as BMW Dynamic Damper Control and a .4mm lower ride height. Stopping power is provided by matte golden-finished calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated carbon-ceramic rotors.
The cabin features heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats upholstered in black Merino leather with silver stitching that extends to the dashboard, center console, and door panel inserts. Amenities include an Anthracite alcantara headliner, aluminum trim, Park Distance Control, Active Blind Spot Detection, Active Driving Assist, a backup camera and additional cameras, a head-up display, iDrive with navigation and real-time traffic, a Harman Kardon sound system, Comfort Access, three remote transmitter buttons on the rearview mirror, heated rear seats, and four-zone automatic climate control.
The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, an M-branded tachometer, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 20k miles, approximately 19k of which were added during current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter S63 V8 was factory rated at 600 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in October 2021. The M5 features the M Driver’s Package which increases the car’s top speed from 155 mph to 190 mph.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and an Active M differential.
A copy of the window sticker lists factory colors, equipment, the $36,800 Pure Metal Silver Edition package, and a total suggested retail price of $133,195. Manufacturer’s literature and two keys are included in the sale.
