The color-matched bed features a painted wood floor and a Bedrug carpeted floor liner. Eight-lug steel wheels are painted silver and wear chrome hubcaps along with 16.5″ Bridgestone tires. The truck is equipped with a 21-gallon in-cab fuel tank as well as a pair of 16-gallon saddle tanks installed during the refurbishment.
The air-conditioned cab features a bench seat trimmed in black vinyl, along with faux wood trim, carpeting, and a molded headliner as part of the Custom trim level. A push-button AM radio is mounted in the stock opening, and details include a 15″ steering wheel, a rubber floor liner, three-point seatbelts, and a reproduction service parts identification label added to the glovebox door. Tears are noted on the left side of the bench seat, and the seller notes wind noise from the right vent window and rear sliding window at high speed.
LED-equipped instrumentation consists of a 100-mph speedometer and a 5k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 41k miles and has rolled over according to the seller, who notes the gear shift indicator does not illuminate. True mileage is unknown.
The 402ci L47 V8 was rated at approximately 310 horsepower by the manufacturer and sends power to the rear wheels through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. The engine and transmission were rebuilt during the refurbishment, which is said to have also included installation of a transmission cooler, a radiator overflow tank, and stainless-steel fuel and brake lines. Work completed in 2022 included installation of a LED cargo and center brake light, an electronic ignition module, and overhauls of the factory Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor and R12-based air conditioning system according to the seller.
