Additional features include a body kit with a rear spoiler, pop-up headlights, quad stainless steel exhaust outlets, and a power antenna. The window sticker and temporary plate are mounted to the side and rear window.
Factory 16″ basketweave wheels with gold centers and polished lips are mounted with the 245/50 Goodyear Eagle ZR50 tires. The wheels retain the factory stickers. All Turbo Trans Ams were factory-equipped with a WS6 high-performance suspension and heavy-duty four-wheel disc brakes. A space-saver spare is mounted in the trunk.
The cabin features power-adjustable front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Camel leather joined by a black dashboard and center console. Equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, a Delco AM/FM cassette stereo with a graphic equalizer, high back folding rear seats, and power windows, mirrors, and locks. Clear plastic covers the seats and the carpeted floors.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset boost-pressure gauge along with additional readouts for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 178 miles. Clear plastic covers the steering wheel.
The turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 was assembled by PAS Inc. of Industry, California, and was similar to the contemporary Buick GNX. Factory-rated output was 250 horsepower and 340 lb-ft of torque. The spark plug wires are printed with “20TH ANNIVERSARY TRANS AM.”
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission equipped with a high-capacity cooling system and a limited-slip differential.
The window sticker lists colors and options. Manufacturer’s literature, delivery and transportation documents, and a 2022 service record are included in the sale.
