Staggered-diameter 14″ and 15″ turbine-style wheels wear 195/60 front and 245/60 rear Hankook Kinergy ST tires. The car is equipped with four-wheel independent suspension and power-assisted disc brakes all around. The brake system was overhauled in 2017.
The cockpit features bucket seats trimmed in gray leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes air conditioning, an AM/FM cassette stereo, a tilt and telescoping steering column, a rear window defogger, and power windows. The cloth liners for the roof and doors were replaced in 2017, while the wiper control module and interior door pulls were replaced under current ownership. Wear on the seats is documented in the gallery.
A three-spoke steering wheel fronts an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 3,200 miles.
The rear-mounted 2.85-liter V6 features Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection and was jointly developed by Peugeot, Renault, and Volvo. Factory-rated output was 130 horsepower and 153 lb-ft of torque. Work performed at DMC of Huntington Beach, California, in December 2021 included a valve adjustment, recharging the A/C refrigerant, and replacement of the control pressure regulator, engine mounts, and rear fuel accumulator hose. A receipt for work performed at this time totaling approximately $6,900 is provided in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The flywheel was resurfaced and the clutch assembly replaced in 2017.
