Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums, and chassis modifications are said to include polyurethane body mounts and Competition Engineering-sourced subframe connectors.
The cabin features black upholstery and trim, and replacement material covers the driver’s seat and headliner. Equipment includes front bucket seats, a center console, air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows and door locks. An eight-track player is retained, and an aftermarket stereo is also installed in the center stack. Per the seller, the heater core has been bypassed and the air conditioning, blower fan, and reverse lights are inoperative. A spare heater core and replacement air conditioning components are included in the sale.
An engine-turned dash panel houses a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset clock, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer indicates approximately 48k miles, 10k of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The replacement Pontiac 400ci V8 has been rebuilt to a displacement of 406ci, and is said to be equipped with a polished crankshaft and forged pistons as well as an Edelbrock Performer camshaft, intake manifold, and carburetor. Aftermarket exhaust headers are linked to a pair of Flowmaster mufflers, and the catalytic converters have been removed according to the seller. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a rebuilt three-speed TH350 automatic transmission and a 3.73:1 limited-slip differential. The seller notes seepage from the transmission pan gasket.
