The right-hand-drive cabin features fixed-back seats that have been reupholstered in red vinyl. Wear is visible on the aluminum driveshaft tunnel, and the seller states that a portion of the floor under the passenger seat was replaced under previous ownership.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts a replacement Smiths tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as auxiliary gauges. An AC-branded 130-mph speedometer and ammeter are fitted on the left side of the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 41k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. The 948cc BMC A-series inline-four features twin SU carburetors and was rebuilt and overbored 0.020″ in February 2010 by Advanced Performance Technologies of Riverside, California. Additional work performed at that time included magnafluxing the block, cleaning the fuel tank and radiator, replacing the alternator, and installing a Pertronix electronic ignition, a high-torque starter, a spin-on oil filter, and an electric fuel pump and fan.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The seller notes a whine in fourth gear as well as oil leaks from the engine and rear axle.
Partial service records and a collection of spare parts will accompany the car.
