The car is finished in GT Silver Metallic and features a brown convertible soft top. Additional details include bi-xenon headlights, aftermarket DEPO LED taillights, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, parking sensors, side air intakes, a retractable rear wing, and flared quarter panels. A September 2009 entry of the Carfax lists damage to the right-front corner of the vehicle, and according to the selling dealer the right-front fender was replaced during previous ownership. The removed taillights are included in the sale.
This is a re-list after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in August 2022 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner has been banned from future participation on BaT.
The 19” Turbo wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, which measure 235/35 front and 305/30 rear and have 2021 and 2022 production date codes. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded six- and four-piston front and rear calipers over rotors measuring 13.8″ at each corner. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an automatic brake differential (ABD). A brake fluid flush was reportedly performed in 2022.
The heated power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in Cocoa Special leather that extends to the dashboard, door panels, and rear seats. Porsche-branded floor mats line the footwells, and additional appointments include auto-dimming mirrors, driver’s-seat memory settings, automatic climate control, LED interior lighting, an optional carbon-fiber center console, carbon-fiber trim, and cruise control, a Kenwood Excelon DMX957XR head unit with Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility, and a Bose sound system. The cabin air filter is said to have been replaced in 2022.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. An optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 65k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six was factory rated at 480 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The Sport Chrono Package allows the 997.1 Turbo to overboost for up to 10 seconds, increasing peak rated torque to 505 ft-lb. Service in 2022 is said to have consisted of changing the front and rear differential, transmission, and engine oil as well as replacing the intake air filter, fuel filter, and DMTL pump and purge valve.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. The car is also equipped with a mechanically locking rear differential.
