Steel 14″ wheels wear bright covers and are mounted with 8.00×14″ BFGoodrich Silvertown wide whitewall tires. The Belvedere was equipped with Chrysler’s Torsion-Aire torsion bar front suspension in 1955, and braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four corners.
The interior features bench seating trimmed in red vinyl with patterned black cloth inserts, while gold-colored accents line the color-coordinated door panels. Appointments include push-button shifting, black carpets, power steering, hand-crank side windows, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a heater, and a push-button radio.
The black and ivory-colored steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer indicates 75k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The original 301ci V8 was replaced with a Fury-sourced 318ci V8 during current ownership. Features include dual four-barrel carburetors and a performance camshaft. The seller states that an oil change was performed in July 2022.
