The 15″ Rally II wheels wear Pontiac center caps and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires measuring 235/60 up front and 255/60 out back. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The brake fluid was flushed and the brake hoses replaced in November 2020.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, and carpeting. Equipment includes front shoulder belts, engine-turned aluminum trim, remote-mirror control, polished door sills, and a Delco push-button AM/FM radio.
The three-spoke formula steering wheel sits ahead of an engine-turned instrument panel housing a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a non-functioning inset analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 61k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.
The Super Duty 455ci V8 breathes through a Rochester Quadrajet carburetor and features a blue engine block, intake manifold, and valve covers. Factory-rated output was 290 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed and the battery was installed in 2022 and the starter was replaced and the carburetor was rebuilt in 2015.
The engine serial number is shown above and additional stamps are shown in the gallery.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a Positraction rear axle with 3.42:1 gears. Corrosion is visible on the exhaust system and suspension components.
