Finished from the factory in Diamond Schwarz Metallic, the car is said to have been repainted some time prior to the current owner’s acquisition. A carbon fiber hood and sunroof delete panel have been added. Various paint chips, dings, scratches, and other imperfections can be seen up close in the gallery below, along with cracks in the clear coat and dents in the passenger-side door and quarter panel. Evidence of rust repair is noted on the trunk lid. A spare hood, rear bumper, taillights, front grills, and two doors are included in the sale.
The 15” Kosei K-1 wheels are mounted with 225/50 Pirelli Trofeo R tires. Braking is through four-wheel discs, and the car rides on Bilstein shocks and Turner Motorsport J-Stock springs. Additional modifications include ST Suspensions front and rear sway bars and brake rotor backing plates with cooling ducts up front. Three spare sets of wheels and two sets of tires will accompany the vehicle, along with spare rotors, calipers, and brake pads.
The cabin has been stripped apart from the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes a bolt-in roll cage, two blue and gray fabric MOMO bucket seats, Schroth harnesses, diamond-plate floor coverings, and a custom panel in the center stack with an integrated stopwatch and toggle switches for vehicle functions. The removed stock front and rear seats are included in the sale, along with various interior trim pieces.
A MOMO three-spoke steering wheel with a Prancing Horse center cap frames an M-branded instrument cluster housing a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer with an integrated oil temperature gauge, and auxiliary displays for fuel level and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows approximately 151k miles, around 60k of which have been added during current ownership.
The 2.3-liter S14 inline-four is said to have been rebuilt at some point with upgraded camshafts and pistons and a baffled oil pan. The seller notes that the catalytic converter has been removed and a Supersprint mid pipe installed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag five-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. Additional images of the underbody, suspension components, and brakes are provided in the gallery, along with photos of spare parts.
