The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts an M-branded 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline, along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 56k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.9-liter S62 V8 is modified with a Dinan S3-M5 centrifugal supercharger system as well as a Dinan carbon-fiber air-intake system, engine management software, tuned velocity stacks, and high-flow throttle bodies. Claimed output was rated at 621 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque in S3 specification. Work completed in preparation for the sale included an oil change and replacing the supercharger belt and oil filter housing mounts.
A serialized plate from Dinan denotes this example as the 33rd equipped with the S3 package and shows an April 2011 build completion date along with Steve Dinan’s signature and the final sequence of the car’s VIN.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag six-speed manual transmission, a Dinan clutch, and limited-slip differential with 3.45:1 gears. An aftermarket exhaust system is fitted.
