Additional work included installing bed-mounted wooden cabinets, chrome-plated window trim and door handles, plus D and C Extreme bumpers and fuel tank along with replacement weatherstripping and glass.
Powdercoated 16″ red wheels are wrapped in 235/85 Cooper Discoverer tires, which were reportedly mounted in 2021. The truck is equipped with D and C Extreme Industries components consisting of a suspension kit, a four-wheel power disc-brake kit, and power steering.
The cabin features power-adjustable seats upholstered in red leather along with a matching dashboard and sun visors. Additional features include R134a-based air conditioning, wool carpeting, dashboard emblems, a roll bar with grab handles, and shoulder seatbelts. Sound-deadening material was applied under the carpeting.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts replacement AutoMeter gauges that include a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates that 550 miles has been driven since completion of the build, of which approximately 150 were added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The 6.0-liter LQ9 Vortec V8 is equipped with a Holley Dominator ECU tune. Work during the refurbishment included installing aftermarket headers, gas-powered hood struts, a four-row aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, and an MSD Atomic AirForce intake manifold, injectors, and ignition system. The engine mounts and the wiring harness were replaced.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission, an Atlas dual-range transfer case, and Dana 44 front and rear axles with 4.56:1 gearing. The frame was powdercoated during the refurbishment.
