The seller notes touch-ups in the paint, evidence of repairs and paintwork on the passenger-side front fender, damage to the driver-side quarter-panel extension, and other imperfections in the finish.
Bright 14″ steel wheels wear hubcaps and trim rings and are mounted with 225/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. The car is also equipped with power-assisted front disc brakes. In 2019 the front suspension and power-steering pump were rebuilt, and in 2020 the rear brakes were overhauled. Polyurethane suspension bushings have been installed according to the seller, who notes leaks from the power-steering lines.
The seating surfaces are trimmed in black, and red rubber liners protect the footwells. A Mustang-branded radio has been installed. The upholstery exhibits tears, and other signs of age and wear are evident.
A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a Super Tach II tachometer clamped to the column, and gauges to monitor alternator status, fuel level, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 19k miles, and approximately 30k miles have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
The 351ci Windsor V8 received a four-barrel carburetor from the factory, which rated the M-code engine at 290 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque. The water pump was replaced in 2017, and the seller states that service in 2022 included an oil change and replacement of the spark plugs, air filter, and muffler. Corrosion is noted on componentry in the engine bay.
Power is delivered to the wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a 9″ rear axle. The transmission fluid and filter were changed in May 2022. The seller notes rust on the underbody, and additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
