Painted 16″ wire wheels are secured by two-eared knockoffs and mounted with Avon Turbospeed Mk4 tires. A matching spare is stowed under a shelf in the trunk. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes. The seller notes that the tires should be replaced due to age.
The cockpit features tan leather bucket seats along with matching door panels, door pulls, carpeting, and trim rails. Features include a padded center armrest, a chrome passenger-side grab handle, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and map pockets in both doors.
Centrally situated instrumentation includes a reverse-sweep 6k-rpm Smiths tachometer with an inset clock as well as a 140-mph speedometer, auxiliary gauges, and a Lucas ammeter. The five-digit odometer shows 11k miles, and true mileage is unknown. There are cracks in the upper steering column cover.
The original engine was removed and replaced with a 3.8-liter inline-six sourced from a Mark IX. It is equipped with dual SU carburetors and a smaller starting carburetor in addition to an aftermarket exhaust system.
The car is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission, and the seller notes a shudder when engaging first gear. Corrosion is present on underbody components, and additional photos are provided in the gallery.
