Chrome-finished 15″ wide-five wheels wear chrome Porsche-crest hubcaps and are mounted with 185/65 Kumho Solus KR21 tires. The modified Beetle chassis is equipped with four-wheel independent suspension and disc brakes at all four corners.
The cabin features low-back bucket seats reupholstered in red leather with black piping, joined by a matching dash pad and door panels. Black rubber floor mats cover gray carpets, and additional amenities include air conditioning, a cabin heater, power windows, cruise control, heated seats, three-point seat belts, and a Pioneer AM/FM CD stereo.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts replica green-letter instrumentation consisting of a 6k-rpm tachometer, a 130-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge for engine temperature and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 15k miles, all of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.5-liter Subaru flat-four was imported from Japan and installed in 2014. The engine features dual overhead camshafts, electronic fuel injection, a polished intake, an open-element air filter, and a front-mounted radiator located below the front trunk.
