Polished 14″ Fuchs wheels are fitted with 195/65 Vredestein Sportracs tires showing 2019 production date codes. The car has been fitted with sway bars. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at all four wheels.
The seats are upholstered in black leatherette, and the seat cushions were repaired in 2019. Equipment includes carpeted floor mats, stainless-steel sill guards, hand-crank windows, and a Blaupunkt SW/AM/FM radio. Cracks are noted on the dashboard and the weatherstripping, and wear is present on the driver’s floor mat. The seller notes that rust on the floor panels has been treated, and photos of work carried out by the seller are presented in the gallery below.
The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, fuel level, and oil level. The five-digit mechanical odometer is said to have rolled over and now shows 34k miles, approximately 6k of which have been added during current ownership. The tachometer, speedometer, and clock were repaired by Palo Alto Speedometer Inc. in Palo Alto, California in May 2019. Total mileage is unknown.
The flat-six was overhauled in 2020 with 2.2-liter pistons and cylinder heads, and the distributor was rebuilt by 356 Carburetor Rescue in Sedona, Arizona. The Bosch MFI pump was rebuilt by Pacific Fuel Injection of South San Francisco, California. Service invoices and engine dynamometer results are presented in the gallery.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Clutch components were replaced and the transaxle was serviced in May 2020, however, the seller states the transaxle was not rebuilt as indicated on the invoice shown in the gallery.
