Fuchs 16″ wheels with black-finished centers are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires. The M491 package added Turbo-specification brakes, anti-roll bars, trailing arms, and torsion bars. A brake fluid flush was carried out in September 2022.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in beige leather. Amenities include cruise control, power windows and locks, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM/cassette stereo as well as heated front sport seats with power height adjustment. The air-conditioning system was recharged with R134a refrigerant in preparation for the sale, and the selling dealer notes a scuff on the outer bolster of the driver’s seat.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 170-mph speedometer, a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline, and an analog Quarz clock as well as gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 60k miles.
The 3.2-liter M930/21 flat-six was factory rated at 202 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. The spark plugs were replaced and the oil was changed in preparation for the sale. Photos showing the results of a September 2022 compression test can be viewed in the gallery below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The shift fork cover was replaced in preparation for the sale. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery.
Manufacturer’s literature will accompany the car along with service records from 2022.
