The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in Onyx leather that extends to the dashboard as well as the upper center console and door surfaces. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and a cassette stereo linked to a six-disc CD changer. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. The seller states the driver’s side window regulator and rear hatch struts were rebuilt.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 24k miles, approximately 16k of which were added under current ownership. A fuel log compiled by the seller can be viewed in the gallery.
The 3.2-liter C32B V6 features dual overhead camshafts on each cylinder bank and utilizes VTEC variable valve timing. Factory-rated output was 290 horsepower and 224 lb-ft of torque. A Comptech exhaust system has been installed along with aftermarket 300-cell catalytic converters and a Science of Speed air intake scoop. A coolant flush was performed in 2019 and the oil was changed in July 2021. The car most recently passed a California emissions test in May 2021. The removed factory air intake scoop and exhaust components are included in the sale.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch master cylinder is said to have been replaced in 2019, and a Type-R clutch damper bypass is installed. The removed factory clutch damper is included in the sale.
