The F80 M3 featured wider bodywork, revised bumper covers, and fender vents when compared to the standard 3-series, and the Competition package added gloss-black Shadowline trim that extended to the kidney and side grilles and rear M4 badging. This example is finished in Tanzanite Blue Metallic and is equipped with the Lighting package’s adaptive LED headlights as well as a carbon-fiber roof panel, front and rear Park Distance Control sensors, a rear spoiler, and quad exhaust tips. A close-up photo showing blemishes on the hood is provided in the gallery below, and the seller states that paint protection film was applied to the front of the car under prior ownership.
Factory 20″ Style 666M wheels wear 265/30 front and 285/30 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport 4S tires. The Competition package included a quicker steering ratio, stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, and revised settings for the Adaptive M suspension. Braking is provided by blue-finished M-logo calipers mounted over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors, and the brake fluid was flushed in December 2021.
The heated and power-adjustable front seats and the heated rear bench are upholstered in Amaro Brown Merino leather with M-logo badges on the front seatbacks, and carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard and center console. The optional Executive and Driver Assistance Plus packages added a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, and side and top-view cameras for Park Distance Control. Additional amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, Comfort Access keyless entry, a Harman Kardon surround sound system, and iDrive infotainment with navigation.
A heated M sport multifunction steering wheel with paddle shifters frames a 200-mph speedometer, an 8,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 21k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter S55 inline-six was factory rated at 444 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque in Competition specification. The oil was changed in December 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an electronically-controlled Active M differential.
Manufacturer’s literature and two key fobs as well as spare rubber floor mats and service records are included in the sale.
