The design of the 348 was overseen by Pininfarina chief stylist Leonardo Fioravanti and was the final V8-powered Ferrari model developed under the direction of Enzo Ferrari. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa and features pop-up headlights, fog lights, side air intakes, louvered taillights, and quadruple exhaust outlets. Silver-finished 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with mismatched tires measuring 215/50 up front and 255/45 out back. Stopping power is provided by Ferrari-branded calipers over ventilated discs with an anti-lock system. The right-rear wheel center cap is cracked.
The cabin features seats trimmed in beige leather that extends to the lower dashboard, center console, and door panels. Appointments include a dogleg-pattern gated shifter, air conditioning, a heated rear window, and power windows and door locks. The selling dealer states that the rearview mirror is discolored.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation consisting of a 300-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 27k kilometers (~17k miles), less than 50 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 3.4-liter quad-cam Tipo F119 V8 features Bosch Motronic engine management and was factory rated at 312 horsepower and 238 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was reportedly carried out in 2017.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.
