The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six was rated at 265 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque when new. In September 2022, the fuel mixture and warm-up regulator were adjusted, the oil was changed, and the spark plugs, valve-cover seals, fuel-pump check valve, and intercooler o-rings are said to have been replaced.
The engine-number stamping is bracketed by Porsche service marks and reads 6890426, which corresponds with the engine number noted on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
