The 15″ chrome wire wheels feature two-eared knock-off spinners and were mounted with Michelin XVS-P tires in November 2020. A matching spare wheel with an older Dunlop tire is mounted under the rear cargo floor. Overhauls of the suspension, steering, and braking systems were performed during the 2020 refurbishment, and invoices from the work performed can be seen in the gallery.
The cabin was reupholstered by the selling dealer in 2022 and features low-back bucket seats trimmed in red leather along with a matching center console, sills, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes aluminum dash and center console trim as well as a two-piece rear mat, a Kenwood cassette player, and aftermarket speakers.
The three-spoke steering wheel features exposed aluminum on the inner rim and frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset clock. Auxiliary gauges were rebuilt by Nisonger Instruments in 2020. The five-digit odometer shows under 64k miles.
The 3.8-liter inline-six features triple SU side-draft carburetors and was factory rated at 265 horsepower. The engine was bored over .020″ and rebuilt during the 2020 refurbishment with new bearings, pistons, valves, and gaskets. The firewall and front frame were also repainted at that time. New spark plugs were installed in preparation for the sale. Cylinder head and engine block stampings can be seen in the gallery, and both list engine number R6023-9.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual gearbox.
