The car was finished in Silver Grey (180) from the factory and was stripped to bare metal and refinished in 2006 by Beverly Hill Motors of Houston, Texas. Equipment includes a black soft top and a body-colored removable hardtop. The seller notes that the hood, nose panel, and right front fender were replaced under previous ownership after an accident. Work under current ownership has included repairing rust in the quarter panels and hood, rechroming the bumpers and trim, and replacing the trunk floor, rocker panels, light assemblies, body seals, and soft top. The top hardcover is chipped and a dent is visible in the hardtop.
Steel 14″ wheels wear covers with body-colored centers and are mounted with 195/70 Michelin Defender tires. A spare tire and jack are mounted in the trunk. Braking power is provided by four-wheel discs. Service under current ownership has included installing the tires and replacing the front brake calipers, pads, and master cylinder as well as rebuilding the steering box. Blemishes on the wheel covers are shown in the gallery.
The cabin houses seats trimmed in black leather complemented by matching door panels. Appointments include headrests, Frigiking air conditioning, a floor-mounted gear selector, a Becker Europa push-button radio, and Coco floor mats. The upholstery, door panels, carpets, dash pad, and wood trim were replaced under current ownership, and additional service has consisted of replacing the heater levers and control cables as well as installing a rotary air conditioning compressor and a high-volume fan.
The two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that includes a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a cluster of vertical auxiliary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 29k miles. The odometer is said to have rolled over, and total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 2.8-liter M130 inline-six was installed under previous ownership and is equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection. Service under current ownership has included replacing the camshaft, rocker arms, fuel injection hoses, water pump, fan clutch, and battery as well as installing a Pertronix electronic ignition and repainting the engine bay. A valve adjustment and tuneup were performed in May 2022.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission that was overhauled along with the driveshaft in November 2018 by Beverly Hill Motors. A 2022 service included repairing the torque converter and replacing the front transmission seal.
