Fuchs 16″ alloy wheels are mounted with 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ tires that show 2018 production codes. Service in 2022 included replacing the front brake calipers and pads, brake hoses, front strut inserts, and rear shocks in addition to installing a Turbo tie rod kit.
The power-adjustable front seats and individual rear seats are upholstered in Champagne leather, and amenities include cruise control, a Blaupunkt Reno AM/FM/cassette stereo, and power windows, locks, and mirrors. The air conditioning system has been converted to R134a refrigerant and was recharged in preparation for the sale. The seller notes that the front door speakers have been replaced and that the stereo only outputs sound from one channel. The rear speaker covers are cracked.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer flanked by a 170-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 97k miles, approximately 9k of which were added by the seller. A speedometer repair was performed in 1987, and total mileage is unknown.
The 3.2-liter M930/25 flat-six features Bosch Motronic engine management and was factory rated at 217 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out service was performed in 2018. The valve cover gaskets and spark plugs were replaced and the valves were adjusted in 2020. Service in 2022 included an oil change and replacing the distributor cap and rotor. An October 2022 vehicle inspection included leak down and compression tests, the results of which are shown in the gallery below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle. The shifter ball socket was replaced in May 2020, and the clutch was replaced in June 2018.
The window sticker lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total suggested retail price of $46,641.
