The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, a digital display, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 2,100 miles, approximately 100 of which were added by the seller.
The turbocharged and intercooled 2.5-liter flat-four was revised for the S209 with a larger HKS turbocharger, a retuned engine control unit, an upgraded fuel pump and injectors, and an intercooler water sprayer with a trunk-mounted water reservoir as well as sodium-filled exhaust valves with upgraded springs. Output was factory-rated at 341 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was completed in April 2022.
Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle with limited-slip front and rear differentials along with a Multi-Mode Driver Control Center Differential (DCCD).
The S209 badge mounted atop the intake manifold matches the one on the center console, which indicates this was car #153 in the series of 209.
The window sticker shows colors, standard equipment, and options and lists a total suggested retail price of $65,451.
The Carfax report lists a manufacturer-issued safety recall in July 2022 regarding a reverse-light switch failure and shows no accidents or other damage. Registration history is shown in California, Tennessee, and Arizona.
