The cabin houses black leather low-back bucket seats equipped with five-point Simpson harnesses, and burl wood trim accents the matching center console and door panels. Additional equipment includes cupholders, a Forte short-throw shifter, a heater, a Ross Thompson turn signal system, push-button start, a keyless security system, Wilwood pedals, and two electrical outlets located beneath the dash. The seller reports that Dynamat Xtreme insulation has been added, and a seam split is noted on the driver’s seat.
A wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel with a Cobra center cap fronts instrumentation consisting of a tachometer, a reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 5k miles, all of which were added by the seller.
The 351ci Windsor V8 is a crate motor from The Engine Factory of Lebanon, New Jersey and is fitted with an adjustable FAST EZ electronic fuel injection system, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a shallow draft Canton oil pan, and a Cobra-branded air filter cover and valve covers. The valve cover gaskets were replaced and an oil change performed in March 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO-500 five-speed manual transmission and a Moser 8.8” rear end with a 3.31:1 gear ratio. Additional underside images are presented in the gallery.
