Aftermarket Mille Miglia 16″ wheels with Mercedes-Benz-logo center caps were mounted with 205/55 Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus tires in 2004. Braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs. A full-size spare tire on a 14″ Bundt alloy wheel is secured in the trunk, and a matching set of four removed Bundt alloy wheels and mounted Uniroyal tires is included in the sale. The seller states that the front lower balljoint rubber dust boots have deteriorated.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in blue MB-Tex which extends to the door panels. Zebrano wood trim accents the dashboard and center console, and appointments include automatic climate control, power windows, central locking, cruise control, and an aftermarket Blaupunkt AM/FM/CD stereo. The seller states that the air-conditioning system does not have refrigerant and believes that the compressor needs new seals. The stereo’s faceplate is cracked, and the removed non-operational Becker stereo is included in the sale.
An aftermarket wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 125-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 15k miles, and the removed steering wheel is included in the sale.
The 3.0-liter OM617 turbodiesel inline-five was factory rated at 123 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The oil and filter were changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The seller notes rust on the center section of the exhaust system and the front lower control arms.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Patriot Motors in Keene, New Hampshire, factory colors and equipment, and a suggested advertised delivered price of $35,220.
A removed set of four 14″ Bundt alloy wheels with mounted tires is included in the sale along with other removed components, manufacturer’s literature, and a first aid kit.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New Hampshire from an initial entry in 2008. A July 2020 entry shows that a New Hampshire inspection station reported the mileage as 16,000 whereas the odometer currently shows 15,304 miles.
