Chrome-finished 15″ wire wheels secured with two-eared knock-offs are mounted with 185-series Avon tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors. The brake master cylinder and front shocks were replaced under current ownership.
The interior features low-back bucket seats trimmed in red leather along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Additional details include a center console, a heater and defroster, lap belts, and a push-button radio.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset analog clock, and centrally mounted auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 29k miles, approximately 100 of which were added by the seller, and true mileage is unknown.
The 3.8-liter inline-six features dual overhead camshafts and triple SU carburetors. Service since May 2022 included polishing the cam covers, intake manifold, and carburetor tops along with repainting the engine and engine accessories, flushing the radiator, installing a CoolCat radiator fan, and replacing the front and lower engine seals, the exhaust manifolds, engine mounts, coolant expansion tank, and exhaust system. Compression readings are displayed in the photo gallery.
The number RA3091-9 stamped on the cylinder head and engine block matches the number on the chassis plate and the Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate shown below. Chassis and body number stampings are provided in the photo gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. The flywheel was resurfaced and the clutch and slave cylinder were replaced under current ownership.
