Black 15″ Ronal Penta wheels with polished rims are mounted with 225/50 Pirelli P ZERO Asimmetrico tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes. Work performed since 2020 reportedly included installing Bilstein dampers and replacing the brake rotors, pads, calipers, and hoses, the steering stabilizer, three tie rod assemblies, CV axle boots, lower sway bar links, and the lower control arm bushings and ball joints. The removed 14″ Bundt wheels are included in the sale.
The cabin was reupholstered in black leather along with replacement color-coordinated velour carpets in the cabin and trunk compartment. Custom gray zebra-patterned wood veneer accents the dashboard and center console, and additional amenities includes a folding rear bench, a RetroSound stereo, automatic climate control, cruise control, and power windows. Coco floor mats are included in the sale, and the air conditioning defrost flap vacuum actuator was reportedly replaced.
The W124 Sportline steering wheel has been trimmed with gray wood veneers and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 79k miles, approximately 800 of which were added by the selling dealer. A replacement US-spec speedometer was installed during prior ownership, and thus total mileage is unknown.
The 5.0-liter M117 V8 sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Catalytic converters are not installed. An oil change was performed in 2022, and additional service completed since 2020 is said to have included installing a remanufactured Bosch alternator, a coolant flush, as well as replacing the following components:
A Supersprint X-Pipe exhaust with Elbe Engineering downpipes is installed, and additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.
A set of 14″ Bundt wheels are included in the sale, along with the removed steering wheel.
