The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an automatic brake differential (ABD).
The cabin features power-adjustable adaptive sport seats upholstered in Stone Gray leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels along with body-color accent trim. Features include driver-seat memory settings, carbon-fiber illuminated door sill guards, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
The optional thick leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 225-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 22k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six was modified in 2008 with an Evolution Motorsports EVT700 package which consists of aftermarket turbos, intercoolers, an exhaust system with high-flow catalytic converters, and an ECU tune. Service in July 2022 reportedly included pinning the coolant lines and installing Shark Werks stainless steel coolant pipes along with replacing these items:
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle, and the car is also equipped with a mechanically locking rear differential. A a Stage 3 clutch and pressure plate have been fitted.
