Silver 15” steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps with Porsche crests and are mounted with 185/70 Avon tires. Stopping power is provided by finned drums at all four corners. Service in 2020 included replacing the brake shoes, brake lines and hoses, master cylinder, and rear hub seals as well as refurbishing the brake drums.
The cabin was retrimmed under current ownership and features light gray leather upholstery and oatmeal square-weave carpets. Equipment includes a height-adjustable rearview mirror, black rubber floor mats, and an aftermarket AM/FM cassette stereo.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a body-colored dash housing VDO instrumentation that includes a 6k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 97k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership.
The replacement 1.6-liter flat-four was installed under previous ownership and is said to have been sourced from a 1969 Porsche 912. Service in 2020 included rebuilding the dual Weber 40IDF carburetors and replacing the fuel lines.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.
