The car is said to be one of approximately 16 Action Model edition units finished in Aventura Green Metallic and is reportedly one of approximately 66 equipped with the X38 option code, which added extended front fenders. Additional details include pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, headlight washers, a sunroof, a rear window wiper, and dual exhaust outlets. GTS-specific equipment included a color-matched rear spoiler, Cup Design side mirrors, GTS badging, and a reflective red panel between the taillights. Rock chips are noted on the front bumper cover, and photos of the X38 stampings on the front fenders are presented in the gallery.
The 17″ Cup 2 wheels feature wider front wheels as part of the X38 option code and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 225/45 up front and 255/40 at the rear. A spare is located in the rear cargo area. The car is equipped with force-sensitive power steering in addition to Porsche-branded calipers over vented disc brakes at each corner.
The heated and power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in Cedar Green leather, which extends to the instrument surround, steering wheel airbag cover, dash, center console, door panels, and rear cargo cover. Interior amenities include memory settings for the driver’s seat, a rear cargo cover, a Blaupunkt Bremen AM/FM/cassette stereo, and air conditioning. Blemishes are visible on the ignition key cylinder as well as the driver’s door panel.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 300-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 125k kilometers (78k miles), approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.4-liter DOHC V8 features LH-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 345 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed and replacement intake tubes were reportedly fitted in March 2022, and service in preparation for the sale consisted of replacing the water pump and timing belt, rebuilding the timing belt tensioner, and measuring the crankshaft end play.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
The Porsche Production Specifications certificate lists optional equipment, colors, and a production completion date of March 1994.
