The cabin features power-adjustable front seats upholstered in Champagne leather along with matching door panels and a contrasting black dashboard. Appointments include a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, an alarm system, cruise control, air conditioning, an aftermarket shift knob, and power windows and locks. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a Quarz clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 86k miles, approximately 100 of which have been added by the selling dealer. A steering wheel bearing spacer was installed in 2021.
The 3.2-liter M930/21 flat-six was factory rated at 202 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. Work in November 2021 consisted of an oil change and the replacement of the upper and lower valve cover gaskets, oil return tubes, air filter, spark plugs, and plug wires. The selling dealer notes various electrical issues were repaired in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle. The exhaust header gaskets were replaced in November 2021.
A Porsche Certificate of Authenticity is included in the sale and shows factory colors, optional equipment, and a production completion date of June 5th, 1985. Manufacturer’s literature and a November 2021 service invoice will also accompany the car.
