The 997.2 GT3 is distinguished from contemporary 911 Carrera models by its more aggressive front and rear fascias, a fixed rear wing, and a center-exit sports exhaust system. This example is finished in Carrara White and features auto-dimming mirrors, headlight washers, Dynamic Cornering Lights, and LED taillights.
Silver 19″ center-locking multi-spoke wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires measuring 235/35 up front and 305/30 out back. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers over rotors measuring 15″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. The selling dealer states that the car is equipped with a Road Sport Supply rear adjustable toe steer kit and an adjustable rear link kit. The brake fluid was reportedly changed in September 2021.
The cabin features hard-back heated sport seats upholstered in black leather and Alcantara, and matching carpets are protected by Porsche-branded floor mats. Interior amenities include the Sound Package Plus, Guards Red seat belts, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a fire extinguisher mounted in the driver’s footwell. The optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch with a red dial atop the dashboard, and the selling dealer notes that a Numeric Racing short-throw shifter is installed.
The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel frames a central GT3-branded tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline, a 225-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 26k miles, approximately 10 of which have been added by the selling dealer.
The 3.8-liter Mezger flat-six is equipped with a Shark Werks Power Kit, which includes an aftermarket air filter, a Shark Werks muffler bypass system, an EVOMSit performance tune, and Road Sport Supply engine mounts. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and the seller notes the limited-slip differential was upgraded to a Sharkwerks Guard unit. According to the selling dealer, the transmission fluid was changed and the spark plugs, water pump, and coolant expansion tank have been replaced. In September 2021 the coolant lines were pinned and a lightweight contemporary GT3 RS-compatible flywheel was installed by FREED Performance.
