The cabin features a split bench seat trimmed in tan upholstery with a color-coordinated dash pad, door panels, and carpets. Appointments includes wind-up side windows, lap belts, a locking glove compartment, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror.
A black four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation that includes a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer indicates 32k miles, less than 1k of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The replacement 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six was installed during previous ownership and is equipped with a straight-port cylinder head and three SU carburetors. The oil was changed in 2021, and service in 2022 included rebuilding the starter and refurbishing the flywheel. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Additional images showing the condition of the underside are included in the gallery below.
A reproduction data plate is located in the engine bay and displays the chassis number as well as replacement engine and gearbox serial numbers.
The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate lists a build date of September 18, 1959, along with factory colors and identification numbers.
