Steel 14″ wheels wear bright covers with body-color inserts and are mounted with 215/70 Kumho Solus TA11 tires that were reportedly installed in March 2022. W109 models were equipped self-leveling air suspension, and braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs. Work performed during current ownership has included flushing the brake fluid, overhauling the power steering pump, performing an alignment, and replacing the front dampers and front and rear suspension bellows.
The interior features beige leather seat upholstery with color-coordinated door panels and black carpets. Wood trim accents the dashboard and doors, and amenities include air conditioning, an analog clock, electric windows, a locking glove compartment, and a retro-style head unit playing through aftermarket speakers. The headliner was reupholstered in 2020, and additional work involved overhauling the analog clock, replacing the air conditioning compressor, and recharging the air conditioning system. An uninstalled Becker Europa radio is included in the sale.
A black two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts VDO instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer indicates 88k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The 6.3-liter M100 V8 features Bosch mechanical fuel injection and was factory rated at 247 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Work performed since 2020 has included fluid changes, adjusting the injection pump and linkage, and replacement of the wiring harness, ignition components, and various seals.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
