The car was finished from the factory in black and was repainted in 1990. Exterior details include a louvered clamshell hood, covered headlights, chrome bumpers with overriders, a bullet-style left-side mirror, vented rear quarter windows, a side-hinged hatch, and twin central exhaust outlets.
