Originally finished in green, the car was repainted silver in the 1970s according to the seller. Equipment includes a brushed stainless targa bar, “sugar scoop” headlights, a driver-side mirror, all-red taillights, front and rear bumperettes, and a single exhaust outlet. The left headlight is out, and the front trunk lid is misaligned on the left side where previous damage has been repaired. The seller states the hood struts are worn. Signs of rust and flaking finish around the taillights and decklid are shown in the gallery below. Rust was reportedly repaired in the floors, and the seller states rust remains in the front trunk lid.
Fuchs 15″ wheels were installed by the seller and are wrapped in 205/60 Yokohama S306 tires. Braking is handled by ventilated four-wheel discs, and the car rides on Bilstein dampers at all four corners.
The cabin features black leatherette seat upholstery along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. An aftermarket Phillips cassette stereo is installed along with 6×9″ Alpine speakers in the rear bulkhead pads. The front trunk struts have reportedly been replaced. The right-front lower seat cushion has two indentations with distorted vinyl.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 83k miles, approximately 82k of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.2-liter flat-six features dual carburetors and was factory rated at 125 horsepower and 130 lb-ft of torque when new. A single dry-cell battery has been installed in place of the two fender-mounted units. An oil change was completed in August 2022. Signs of an oil leaks are visible on the underside of the engine, and the seller states the car smokes after it’s been sitting.
