Mercedes-Benz introduced the 190E Evolution as a limited-production homologation variant of the 190E 2.5-16 for the 1989 model year. Evolution-specific elements include revised front and rear valances, a larger rear wing, and more pronounced flared fenders. All 502 190E Evolution models were finished in Blue-Black Metallic (199U).
